The computer program „WinCN Supervisory Centre” is meant for computer supervisory centres monitoring various types of devices on a basis of data transmission via transmission lines. It is equipped with special functions meant for control of operation of the devices.
Supervised devices may be of discretional type. Exemplary applications: AC and DC power supply systems, back-up UPS systems, gensets, air-conditioning devices, distribution boards means for distribution of AC and DC.

Its basic goal is to accept occurrences of failures from supervised sites or to accept reports on their status of operation. The Supervisory Centre also enables to establish connection with discretional site and read present operational parameters of the devices. Moreover data can be registered periodically in real-time mode. The system also ensures control of chosen functions of the devices and setting their operational parameters. Range of control functions depends on type of the controller applied in the device.
The WinCN program ensures registration and archiving of all data related with supervised sites, which are stored in so-called History of events. Data on configuration of particular sites and each registered status of their operation can be documented in a shape of printouts.
The program’s help system describes all functions and basic activities related with operations of the Supervisory Centre: entering and deleting sites, edition of their properties (name of the region, telephone number, etc.), arrangement of sites in the maps, establishing set of devices installed in the sites and configuration of the list of parameters and signals registered for particular devices.
