Main window

Main window of the program consists of a bar of tabs, ribbon and a working window. Contents of the working window does not change while switching between tabs. After restart the program automatically restores previous arrangement, situation and size of the main window and of individual working windows. In order to improve legibility the functions within tabs are in the subgroups. There are three tabs :

Subgroups:
 
 1. Apperance - selecting one skin in the list of options enables changing colouring of the program.
         
 2. Windows:
 
 - List of open windows - enables quick switching through open windows
 - Default settings of windows

 
 3. Personalization
 
 - Changing the password - Using this option enables the user to modify the password on his own. It is necessary to enter password which was valid during the start and enter the new password of the user in two consecutive fields. Entered data are approved by clicking "Save".

4. Archivization
 
- Button "Start archivization" enables the archiving to trigger the window with parameters - at present only one parameter is being supported - "Data expire date" - that is since when data is staying in the base (are being older archived)

 
The function of the archiving correctly will only start itself if was configured according to instructions at the end of installation instructions of the WinCN server, otherwise a shown error message will become I-207-860 described in DTR.

5. System

- States of services – this function opens additional window in the working area, displaying list of   identifiers of programs and users which currently communicate with the server.

- System events - additional window displaying list of events with description of particular modules of the WinCN modules

- Closing clients – enables disconnection of the user who is currently logged in the WinCN application

- Configuration of notifications:
 
The following icon: is visible in the left top corner of the WinCN window.

Clicking it will cause opening the adjusting window with the Application settings, Notification module, Archiving.

- WinCN Notifications:
 

 
It is an additional window, which is displayed as soon as the WinCN system detects alarm state at any site. It informs when the alarm has appeared precisely, what type of alarm it was and at which site it occurred. Clicking the notification referring to particular site will make it disappear out of the list and the window of this site’s status will be opened.
